There is nothing I love more about my job than getting to engage with my community!  You are always there to help with any advice I may need and are truly an extension of my friend group.  That being said, I want to thank you all for providing me with some of the best NYC recommendations ever!  The list I have compiled is expansive and I would have never known about half of these spots if it weren’t for you.  I wanted to roll out some blog posts highlighting these NYC coffee shops, restaurants, stores, etc. so you can visit these places as well. I’m first starting out with some general favorites that I know are great and should be at the top of your list as well!

Cafes:

Breads BakeryYour quintessential NYC bakery known for producing incredible, handmade pastries and bread everyday, throughout the day! Absolutely recommend the chocolate babka and orwashers! Multiple locations around the city.

Hungry GhostHungry Ghost has locations all over NYC from Tribeca to Brooklyn! I love Hungry Ghost because their coffee is consistently good. Some locations also offer beer and wine in the afternoon/ evening! 

MamanMaman is the definition of bringing a little slice of Paris to NYC!  The aesthetic is unparalleled along with their food and drinks.  You can stop in for a coffee to-go, or sit down and enjoy some of their amazing baked goods or breakfast/ lunch menu! Multiple locations around the city, favorites are in Soho and Flatiron! 

Tompkins Square Bagels – Tompkins square bagels have arguably some of the best bagels in NYC! If you are wondering where to start on your bagel journey, Tompkins will absolutely not disappoint! Located in the East Village.

Restaurants: 

BubbysLocated in Tribeca, Bubby’s is renowned for their classic American food and most visited for their brunch! The pancakes are amazing- must try!

Dudley’sDudleys is located in the Lower East Side and was made to resemble an Australian corner pub and bistro!  The environment is amazing for drinks and bites.  Recommend for brunch!

DanteA West Village/ Greenwich Village neighborhood dime! You cannot go wrong stopping in here for cocktails and food! The quaint environment is chic with its leather booths and European design.  Amazing brunch, lunch or dinner spot. 

BalthazarLocated in Soho! French brasserie that serves Parisian classics like steak frites. Great spot for people watching if you sit outside. 

Aunt JakesAunt Jakes is known and loved for its array of homemade pasta! If you are a pasta lover this is the place for you. Also serve amazing appetizers and mains if you are looking to mix it up. 

Saint Theos Another West Village staple!  Saint Theos is an upscale spot with retro-style interior and decor.  Offers Italian inspired food and drinks.  Another great spot for brunch, lunch or dinner!
