On our recent trip to Switzerland, we had the amazing opportunity to stay at the incredible Maya Caprice Hotel! Located in Wengen (a car free village!), the hotel overlooks the breathtaking Lauterbrunnen Valley. The train is located only a one minute walk from the hotel and the gondola only a seven minute walk, making exploration of the area (hikes, skiing, visiting other nearby villages) extremely effortless.
Maya Caprice offers 8 different room options ranging from budget double rooms to two-bedroom suites! Every room is very tastefully designed in a beautifully minimalist manner with warm wooden accents, comfortable beds and spacious, clean bathrooms. Our room also included a stunning balcony that provided views of the hillside and distant valley. We could not believe our eyes- the views were truly unmatched.
One of the best perks in staying at this beautiful hotel is that they offer an all-inclusive breakfast for guests. Walking downstairs and having delicious eggs, yogurt, cheese, and more with that view is just 10/10- you can also have it in your room! Also, their restaurant, Caprice, offers dinner with an array of Italian inspired meals prepared fresh daily.
The hotel’s amenities include a spa with an outdoor hot tub (with spectacular views of the mountains as well), a sauna, cold plunge and multiple massage options.
Between the stunning views, amenities, and proximity to nearing villages and hikes, I truly cannot recommend the Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel enough. If you are ever visiting the area, please consider this boutique hotel as it will make your trip one to remember
